So, we don't know what VV (and VV is a he) told Suzaku, but we presume that he told Suzaku that Zero was somehow responsible for Euphie's actions, and then Suzaku already knew that Zero killed her.
Question of continuity #1: Why does Lelouch presume that Suzaku hates Zero for Euphie's sake? How could he believe that Suzaku could know that Zero was responsible for Euphie's killing spree?
There was some general spoiler info that said that Suzaku's physical prowess may already have been tied to Geass - something given to him as a child.
I've thought about them bringing her back since in episode 16, Mao said that Britannian medicine can practically bring people back from the dead (after he was shot 30 times). They're also bringing back Jeremiah (Orange-kun). However, I think we're probably stuck with a dead Euphie.
Question of continuity #2: How come 30 bullets doesn't kill Mao, but 1 bullet kills Euphie?
Or is it simply that Suzaku feels like kicking some ass.
I think Suzaku is entirely capable of being that upset over the deaths of all those people, and wanting revenge due to that. But, again, I'm not holding my breath that could mean Euphie would live.
In Arthurian legend, Lancelot was able to save Guenevere from the death Arthur intended her to have (burned at the stake with the crowd calling for her death), to secret her away in a convent. I think the creators missed the part where Guenevere DIDN'T DIE, the f**** bastards.
*ahem* anyway.
She'll stay dead because they needed the drama of Lelouch killing his first love and Suzaku losing his love in order to set the friends against each other to the point that Suzaku will be willing to kill Lelouch (and I think at this point, Lelouch welcomes his friend to kill him. I think Lelouch wants to die, now, and prefers it to be at the hands of his friend). Suzaku would probably not be willing to kill Lelouch for the sake of the dead Japanese people. Suzaku is willing to kill ZERO for that, but not Lelouch, and I think they need him to be to the point where he will kill his friend.
A recent magazine article in Japan says: Lloyd wants to protect Suzaku now, and Suzaku?s caption says that he?s heading towards the battlefield like a bloodthirsty beast looking for Zero.
And we need to eliminate Euphie as both boys' love interest in order for Kallen to betray Zero and join forces with Suzaku - she'll leave Zero when she finds out he was responsible for the massacre (Or even that he's Lelouch vie Britannia, a prince of the blood), AND that he's the one responsible for killing the remaining members of the Japanese Liberation front - minus Toudou.
We also need to shove Kaguya into Euphie's former position only reversed - Suzaku's cousin or relative who wants to become Zero's wife (yeah, ok, Kaguya, that WAY out-lames anything like: Heero, come and kill me).
BTW, I'm expecting Toudou will lead many of the other Black Knights against Lelouch when HE finds out that Zero killed the rest of the Japanese Liberation front.
And what will Lelouch do when he finds out that he's been used as a pawn by Kirihara - the person responsible for the death of his mother? Hm. I wonder.
Now. One thing that they have been hinting at, but haven't explained is this...
-Marianne, dead, talks to CC (ep 23)
-Emperor tells someone that he's talking to Clovis (who is dead), and THEN is notified that Clovis's body has arrived (ep 6)
-CC tells Mao, before she shoots him: Go there first to wait for me (ep 16). At the world of death.
-And where are these people, exactly:

Does that mean the dead exist in some other world? Who wants to bet the goal is the destruction of Earth or even the universe? And who wants to bet that ep 24 shows Suzaku closing Euphie's phone with Zero's number programmed into it... The creators won't reveal whether Suzaku knows Lelouch is Zero, yet.
Anyway, I watched the raw of 21, and downloaded the subs for 21-23, but have not watched a subtitled episode since 20. Since Euphie and Suzaku held hands in a field of flowers and he took back his knightship.
That's where the series ends for me. They've been getting more and more inconsistent with the plotline - especially since ep 16. I was willing to forgive them Mao, and willing to forgive them for the Island of the Gods episode 19 (I fell further for the Lelouch/Euphie pairing), but not killing Euphie the way they did.
You have more strength than me to be able to watch those episodes. The only thing I may (or may not by the time August rolls around) still care about is Suzaku getting his revenge. But I can only watch that if they don't put him together with another girl. If they start with Suzaku/Kallen or Suzaku/Shirley or Suzaku/Kaguya or even Suzaku/Cecile (Counterattack manga, wtf?), they're just going to make me madder. *sigh*
