Mrr-well thank you. ^^ It's that time again too...The next chapter is in my grasp-so here is the summery for you to grasp too! Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Chapter 493: "Resonence"

Faced with many of Shinshinki's meidou's Inuyasha and Seshoumaru stand while Kagome continues the name game in the background and Miroku commentates...again.

Tenseiga continues to pulsate-and over on the left feild-Tetsusaiga does the same! (ZOMFG! /)OoO(\ like that's so amazing... ) Dummy #1, with the puppy ears, decides to tell Dummy #2, with the crecent moon, to use the Tenseiga-"something might happen!" Dummy #2 tries to figure out the "pulsating Sword Language" these two weapons seem to have accrued over the past 492 chapters-and thinks he figures out that Tenseiga is only telling him to use it to save Inuyasha and the Tetsusaiga. (where he gets these thoughts I'd love to know...I think he's on crack...but anyway!)

Shinshiniki does the taunt routine again...etc...Sesshi kind of takes the bait and yells that Shininki shouldn't have the right to live and throws one final Meidou at him with the Tenseiga-figuring right now, he doesn't care what the reason he was given Tenseiga is-but he will later...go figure.

Sesshi manages to make one FUXING HUGE ASS full circle Meidou attack that looms over Shinshinki....And sucks in all of Mask-i's meidou's...for two pages...And either Jaken or Kohaku states the obvious again...as Mask-i yells the fav line of any baddie on the death walk: "WHAT? IMPOSSIBLE!" And then figures out..."Oh...oh yea, he could do it because Tetsusaiga was right there with it...henh-I'm dumb..." and gets sucked into the Huge Ass Meidou-before dissapearing he shoots one last taunt-and is gone.

Kagome and Miroku say useless stuff-and Inuyasha asks the dumb and dumber award question: "Hey--wasn't that a complete Meidou Zangetsu Ha?" ( Well gee, I do wonder Scruff...hmm...let's think about that one now, shall we? ) Sessh starts to leave-and Scruffy stops him with the statement- 'well hell, you did it! I dunno what pop was thinking, but you should be glad! Shininki was just a jealous retard-you actually got a really cool sword!' (ok-he didn't say it *that* way...but that's a basic sum up in my own words-which is what a summery is!! lol ) Sessh wants to know what gave him this corny idea? Inu responds because he isn't gonna let Sessh resent the Tenseiga, and prove to him that it really is Inutaishou's momento-right now! ( uhm...how Scruff? )

Miroku is surprised that Inu's paying respects to the Tenseiga, Kags wonders if he's trying to encourage his elder brother, and Ship-dip wonders if it'll work...Of course it doesn't. Sessh snorts and claims Inu's blind-and reveals (to us) that he had figured out the same thing Mask-i had before he was sucked into black oblivion, about Tetsusaiga being near. Turning to his half hanyou otouto, he snarls at him to remember they they are destined to be at odds till they die...and walks off leaving lil bro all baffled and deflated.

Rin asks Kohaku if he at least wants to say hi to his sister-while Sango takes up the one-sided name-game, and Kohaku's all like: "Psh, hell no, fuck that...lets just follow Sesshoumaru." (No he didn't say it that way either...but it's funnier that way. >) ) Anyway, Myouga pops back up on Kags' shoulder and starts to drivel about starting to finally actually realize what the reasoning was for the swords going to who they did...(who knows if he's telling the truth by this time.) and then as an aside in thought mentions that he's noticed something about his manner, about the Inu no Taishou's intentions...Not clear if he means Sessh's manner-or the Inu no Taishou's...but anyway-final panel is Inuyasha watching his brother's back with a pensive look and his name on his mind.

SOOO Yea...I had a lotta fun poking fun at this one-as you can see. lol. Shinshinki's dead and we've seen Sessh and a full Meidou. What does it mean? WHO KNOWS?! x.x My guess is that-(completely contrary to what *I* would like to see happen-) Sessh and Inu have to work together and get Naraku sucked into his full sized Meidou...Or at least I hope that's where it's headed...Anyway...Takahashi-sensei claims a "New Development!" for next chapter...hope it's one for the closing of the whole "fairy tale." x.x SO till next week!

New developments, eh? I don't have nearly enough knowledge to know weather or not she's ever promised those before, so all I can do is hope that it's what we're hopping to hear about.

Sorry-I got the chapter yesterday, but had a rough day so I didn't post the summery! But now I will. Enjoy!

Chapter 494: "The Two Worlds"

Kagome goes back. Leaving the bow Kikyou gave her with Shippou.

Inuyasha speaks to Kaede *again* on Kikyou's death. And again she says don't worry about not saving her [you imbicile...] She shouldn't have come back in the first place. They wonder about how Kagome will fare now.

Inuyasha contemplates that if Kagome was to give her life for any of this, he'd rather she stayed in her era, safe and sound, as he walks to the well. At least she has family and friends to keep her company there.

Ironically the little green miko comes home to an empty house. Mama, Souta and Jii-chan have gone away to the hot springs for the day.

Kagome remembers she's got to go to school-so rushes out only to find out: It's Sunday. She calls her friends (Whom of which I still wish would die-my opinion.) but finds none of them home. She takes a bath. Then tries to go to sleep in her bed...only to shoot up remembering-hey baka...it's mid-afternoon! She makes herself lunch. She eats it with initial gusto...but then descends to a more sad face-saying she wants Mama's cooking. She decides to study. That descends to wondering what everyone back in the Sengoku are doing...which she shortens to just Inuyasha, figuring he'll be here to bug her soon. She lays her head on her desk and admits she's lonely. She falls asleep.

She wakes up later to find a blanket over her-and turns to of course see the hanyou sitting on her bed. Her eyes start to well up-and the hanyou takes that the wrong way-and snarls the question "what'd I do?!" Kags is all like-"You came..." He drops that act and hands her the bow Shippou had, telling her that Kaede says it'll make a bond with her heart if she keeps it with her always. Then he tries to leave. Kags stops him.

Sitting at the foot of her bed she explains that no one is home. He asks her why doesn't she just go back then? She says I've got school tomorrow and Mama-tachi will be back. He gets a sad face and asks her if she really likes it in this world. She says of course, she was born and raised here and her friends and family are here. (though I would say the folks back in the Sengoku are more her friends then the ones in the modern era! >xO) He's all "thought so. Why not just stay here till Naraku's dead?" She's all..."um...wtf? Are you sick? Did you come to just say that?" He's all: "Well-I figure as long as your safe...and alive."

With that Kags makes another undying connection with his words to Kikyou-and then remembers that she promised the red miko that she'd finish this. She thanks the hanyou for his thoughts on her saftey, but leans her head on his shoulder and says "I'ma gonna stay with ya till the end." In the single mushy moment we've had since the chapter *before* Kikyou's awakening-he takes her hand-looms over her and says that he'll protect her with his life...

The scene is set...their faces are close...Inuyasha just claimed that she was precious-in so many words-their alone in Kagome's room. Alone in the house-his shadow covers her face....and then....

*BAM!* Souta, Mama and Jii-chan walk it TOTALLY ruining the whole moment with a "Ranma-esque" ending (which is so fuxing typical of Takahashi! ><) with Kags slamming Inu's face into the floor with her hand and killing it. Dead.

The final frame has Kagome's thoughts spanning the night sky-thinking she never thought she'd see the day when she would have to choose between her era and the Sengoku Jidai.

Hokai...I don't know whether I want to filet Takahashi for A. taking yet another break from ending the story...or B. Ranma-ing up the possible kiss scene between Kags and Scruff!! >o< But we'll see what these two say to each other in the next chapter...Since apparently they're both gonna stay in the modern era for a while. SO till next time!

Another day is dawning for another useless chapter. And sadly-this one is not in the modern day like I thought. x.x

Chapter 495: "Further Thought"

Byakuya roams over the *very* battle-marked field where Sesshoumaru and Mask-i had had their Meidou fight of round, circular hell-led DOOOOOOM. He brings to life what look like boney bugs-but calls the "rock insects" ( go figger...) and asks them what happened.

Switch to Rin-tachi. Rin asks where Sessh has gone, and Jaken recalls what we've learned about the Tenseiga.

Move to Toutousai's forgery mountain. Toutousai is putting up an "I've Moved" notice when Sessh comes in with a Meidou and eats half of his skull-made house away.

Sessh follows his attack and inquires if the Jii-jii thought he would escape. Toutou gives Sessh the driest look and just says: "Oh, hi...thought you might come. I guess you figured out Tenseiga?"

Sessh inquires if he knew everything from the get-go, and Toutou's like-"uh-yeeah...I forged it dumbass." He asks if the Fluffer-nutter has met Shishinki...Sesshi takes on a four frame flash-back to Mask-i and his words of "wisdom." Flashback trumps out and Toutou shakes his head saying he's got no idea what Shishinki put in his head BUT it meant that the Inu no Taishou's faith in him finishing it was all good.

Sessh frowns and is all like: "Idiot! Don't think I don't know what he wanted to have happen after! Tetsusaiga can absorb stuff, Tenseiga can't. I was to perfect the Meidou attack only to have Tetsusaiga eat it and reclaim it as it's own attack." ( pretty rotten deal for Sesshi there if you ask me...)

Toutousai just confirms Sesshi's suspicions-and Sesshi gets all POed-yelling about how could he ever let Inuyasha defeat him with the Tetsusaiga-yadda-yadda and attacks Toutou, who in turn uses his mallet and smashes lava around Sessh to hault his attack. From where ever the smithy has hidden he calls out "Hey-Ding bat! Do you seriously think your Pop was gonna let you force Inuyasha into the short end of the stick? While your busy mucking around with Tenseiga-how about ya put a lil thought into Inuyasha's ideas beyond you getting the full Meidou!"

Sessh gets all flustered again, tells the Jii-jii "Shu'uup!" attacks again and then wonders what he meant...Next-dunno whose saying this stuff-but someone is speaking into the air saying: "Forget your hatred toward Inuyasha, forget the attachment you have to your blade...let go..only then will you surpass your father." As he walks off and Toutou sitten there gasping cuz he thought he was gonna die.

MEANWHILE...Back on the Ranch: Rin's complaining about Fluff's lateness, Jaken's complaining about Rin's complaining about Fluff's lateness--and Kohaku--is just sitting there.

But not for long.

Kohaku gets a really nasty feeling-and realizes almost to late that the LAST SHIKON SHARD in his back is becoming tainted. He tells Rin and Jaken to head for the hills when *PoOf!* Naraku shows up Right Behind Kohaku!!! In all his Narcotic glory! And we end it with Kohaku yelping out: "Naraku!" till next week....

Yet another cliff hanger...And again...It LOOKS like she might finally be going somewhere with all of this...but...I wouldn't get my hopes up... Anyway-till next time!

Chapter 496: "Trick"

We last left our stunning little Amber Hero with a surprise back attack from Naraku! Who is quite obviously out to get the last shikon no kakera.

Naraku tells Kohaku that he's got no hope basically. Kiks is gone. Kohaku remembers Kiks and lements that he wasn't with her in her final moments. (Trust me kid, you really didn't want to be...) Naraku reaches for the shard but Kohaku's all like "OH FUCK NO!" *WHACK* off comes Narki's hand and off Amber-Boy runs!

Narki reaches a tenticle out to touch the shard and begins to turn it black but- Budda-bing-budda-Boom! Pure light throws him back! Now you're prolly <s>not</s> asking yourself: "Uh-how the hell did pure light spit from that?" Well, Kohaku wonders the same thing as Rin calls him to Aaun.

Narki's all like: "Well foo...so this is what you were doing Kiks...His shard when mixed with the rest of the tama would purify the tama nad me in turn...Niice trick...buut..."

Scene Change! The Inu-gumi are racing along (don't even ASK when Scruff and Kags got back...I've no clue...) and Scruff smells Narki-pooh...and of course our little green miko cheerleader class A-1 senses the last shard and therefore know Kohaku is in the house!

Shippou recalls that the Amber Hero Boy was with the all mighty fluffer-nutter-and Inuyasha's all like--"Weelll-I dun smell him..." And Miroku's all like-Welll LETS GO! The little dude's in danger!

Back in the air: Kohaku's all "Wow...we-um-escaped..." But he speaks too soon as Narki comes traipsing behind in a shouki cloud and asks Kohaku what he thinks Kiks was doing. He doesn't wait for an answer and just-kinda-tells him anyway. Now Kohaku knows why his shard was purified when Narki touched it. Kohaku now thinks that his shard is the key to Naraku's demise.

'Course Naraku's all like: "But ya know...There *is* a way to get it without actually touching it yet..." And proceeds to send sharp tenticles out for Kohaku's neck. Kohaku yells at Aaun to fly low and explains to Jaken upon him asking wtf Narki's trying to do, that Narki is trying to sever Kohaku's head from his shoulders. Narki chuckles and agrees-explaining further that once he does that he can taint the shard at his own pace.

Of course the Inu-gumi come racing about a cliffside to see Narki's shouki cloud and exclaim the obvious yet again. (They *really* have a talent for doing that....x.x) They start down the cliffside for Naraku but are stopped in thier tracks by none other then: BYAKUYA! *dun*dun*dun!*

Scruff of course yanks out his pretty overly phalic over grown sword of doom and endless boredom-and yells he doesn't have time for this. Byakuya's all like: "Psh...I don't have time for this either." 'besides, Narki'll be done soon.'

Final frame Kohaku's fleeing still and thinking: "Motha puss bucket! The fuxing thing's going all black again!"

SO that ends this week's installment...Could it be that she *IS* actually nearing the conclusion FINALLY? Can she do it in 3 chapters? Guess we'll see! Till next week!

Chapter 497: "Kohaku's Neck"

Last we saw the inu-gumi Byakuya had blocked thier way with thorny vines. Now, of course, Inuyasha goes and uses the Kaze no Kizu on them. And of course-what happens? Shouki explodes from them! Wee...He tries to charge in and use it again-to blow it all away-but Byakuya just makes more vines pop up.

Miroku yells for Inuyasha to stand back-and everyone's like: "NO! YOU IDIOT!" (me included) but he kazanna's the shouki anyway, and Byaku's like: "Tsk...moron." Kags shoots an arrow for Byaku and yells at Sango to go after Kohaku as she shoots another knocking off the wing of the paper crane Byaku rides on. Sango leaps away with Kirara and Inu charges Byaku and Byaku's like: "Uh, uh-No you didn't! I don't think so!" And tries to escape.

Everyone worries about the monk, though it appears that the medicine/poison he took is nulling the pain completely...but that's all.

Meanwhile! Back at our home away from home! Jaken worries about what Sesshoumaru will do to him if Rin gets caught in this cross-fire. Our little amber hero tells him to get away with Rin-to which Rin protests and Naraku, who is hot on their heels, scoffs at his attempt to protect others at this crucial moment-and sends shouki every which way.

Above Sango sees and goes in for the dive.

The trio get blown off Aaun and Kohaku shoves his gas filter mask over Rin's face-fretting over how defiled the shard in his back is now. He shoves Rin and tells her to run-as Naraku comes into view and chuckles at his concern for Rin, but tells him not to worry. He won't have to feel anything soon-and forces him to put his blade to his own throat-basically saying: "I'll get that shard. Kuku."

Sango chooses now to burst in on the scene and blow Kohaku's arm away from his neck. She lands in front of Narki and he observes she's all by herself. He entices her to just let Kohaku RIP. But she's all "Fuck You!" And Hiraikotsu starts doing something....

But we won't find out what till next week. Can Sango save the Little Amber Hero? Is this drawing to a final battle and-Gods willing-a conclusion? We'll have to see.

*gasp* Even though that sounds somewhat like the beginning of the end, I wouldn't bet money on it. But great chapter none the less. I kinda like this kohakuxrin interaction.
