Part 19: Nooj's Last Battle

Drake piloting his fathers gundam dashed in the path of the carrier that his girlfriend Paine stole to escape Libra with vital intelagence but has come underfire from Nooj who was in hot persuit with his crimson red Serpent.

"Hang on Paine...I'm comeing." said Drake as he arives just in time to see Nooj about to fire his missiles. "Time to learn why I'm Crimson Death." said Nooj...but right before he can pull the trigger, Drake takes a swipe with the twin beam sythe and says to Nooj "Sorry ass hole...Your not getting anywere near her...not wile I'm here." Paine heared the tone in Drake voice and knew he would be willing to give his own life to save hers and that she can feel safe when he's near.

Drake and Nooj clashed with beam saber aginst twin beam sythe as they exchanged hit for hit despretly tring to find a weak poind in the other to exploit. As the two men clash Nooj says "Think your The God Of Death...your nothing but his bastered offspring." Drakes replie was "Maybe but I'm still the son of a Gundam pilot...and I'll kick your ass even if I die I'll take you to hell with me." Drake and Nooj continued to battle as Paine watched helplessly from the crippled shuttle praying her lover would servive.

Drake was reaching his limits as Nooj kept comeing and coming as he launched all 16 of his missiles from his Serpent tward the carrier Drake threw himself in the line of fire to save Paine. Drake was bashed around from the impact yet still able to fight.

Nooj came in with his beam saber about to thrust as he said "Who do you think you are...thinking you can defeat me?" Drake raised the left arm and fired the buster sheiled and nailed him in the top part and crippled the crimson red Serpent and said "The God Of Death" as he sliced Nooj in half with the twin beam sythe. Paine saw the Serpent explode and only saw the glowing green eyes of the Deathsythe.

Drake towed the damaged shuttle back to Peacemillion and as soon as she was off the shuttle and as soon as he got off his father gundam, they ran to eachother and begain to kiss deeply. For his actions Drake was awarded the silver star.

The war was not over yet...Yuna was still on Libra and her life is still in the balance.
