As of June 10th, the 1st FMP dvd will be released. Of course you get your choice of a special set like how some recent anime has been offering with the 1st dvd. The special package comes with the box carrier to put your future FMP dvds in and will also come with a t-shirt. But those usually range around $40 online and at certain stores that carry it. I usually shop online at cheaper places and they are offering it for $31 for the box and t-shirt. I'm just waiting for the pre-order window to open.
Since ADV is releasing FMP, I will be attending Ushicon this weekend in Austin and I know that ADV ppl will be there. Also it helps that ADV is from Houston so I know they go to alot of anime cons. I will ask them about FMP and perhaps if they can tell me who's voicing who's character for the dub and how many eps will be on the dvd since it does not state it yet. I might, if I remember to do so, ask them if perhaps they might have it released and brought with them to Akon since Akon is end of May-beginning of June. Media Blasters did that with the #3 dvd of Weiss Kreuz last yr at Akon too since it wasn't slated to be released till like 2-3 weeks after the con. Once I get my info, I will come back and tell all once the con is over.
Just thought a few ppl would be thrilled as much as I am with this news. Lets just pray though that the dub is decent.
Also I just read that the japanese version of Newtype magazine for the Feb issue has a 2 page spread of the making of the 2nd series for
FMP.
