Well, I have to say that in my research (I do medieval food, okay?) I haven't seen apple pie in its present incarnation. Although I have seen pies that contain apples. (thinks of lovely meat pies, and the flaune thingy they made once, which had apple bits and lots of cream and was very yummy) And apples are really big here. Well, at least in my state they are... (grumbles about being unable to find real apple cider when she goes out west for school)

Not those, at least not yet. We tend to wander across Europe and occasionally beyond. Mostly English and German, though. A lot of German, I think. Although we're going to try and find some Middle Easter stuff soon, I think.
