Erm...random poem written when I was bored/depressed. ^.^;

A Love Song
This is a love song,
Without the song part.
A tuneless humming,
Falling from my lips.
Awkward, unpracticed.
A cry for recognition.
This is a love song,
With too much love.
Leading in much pain,
In the form of silence.
Unheeded, unwanted.
A hollow prayer.
This is a love song,
In three short words.
Written in storybooks,
So many times over.
Saying these words,
Never hurt so much:
This is a love song,
Unreturned by you.
A harmony, broken.
Saying ?I love you.?
Without a response.
And yet I must admit;
This is a love song,
Without the song part.

I enjoyed it. I wish I were talented with poetry, but, alas, I am not. I have written 2 poems in my life that I like. One of them I woke up in the middle of the night, wrote it, and went to sleep. In the morning I read it, and I gawked. I WROTE THAT? ^_^
