[Heero and Hilde, along with the 3 month old Joshua in her lap, are on a plane back to the Sanq Kingdom]

The flight was easy enough; it was long but not too long, and they did not have to suffer through airline food. Little Joshua slept almost the entire way, surprising both his mother and his godfather. Suddenly the flight attendant came over the intercom, informing the passengers that the plane would soon be landing and to please fasten their seatbelts tightly, with their chairs in the upright position. Heero watched the ground approach at an easy pace. The jolt that came upon contact with the ground below made him sense the light touch on his arm. He could see the distress in her eyes and he knew that she felt just as nervous about returning as he did.

Duo was still heartbroken over the loss of Hilde, but was nowhere near accepting it. From his well-used position on the couch, he had counted the number of holes in the ceiling tiles more times than is humanly healthy, and had also managed to place numerous pencils in the ceiling. The worst part about that was that sometimes they fell down on his head. He was currently watching the blades of the fan spin around?and around?and around?and around, when the doorbell rang. He slowly turned his head towards the door and silently willed the door to open by itself, so as not to make him get up off of the couch. But as the ringing persisted, he stood up and answered it. Much to his astonishment, there stood Heero and Hilde, and a tiny baby was held in her arms. ?Hilde, babe, where?ve ya been for the past year?!?
She replied, ?I?ve been in Tokyo with Heero.?
A formula worked its way into his head. Hilde and Heero. In Japan. Together. With a baby. He finally thought he had two and two put together, and said, ?You guys got married, didn?t you? And now, that baby there is yours. Heero?s and yours.?
Hilde shook her head and a smile grace her face. ?No, Duo. The day that you told me about you and Relena, I had wanted to tell you that I was pregnant. I just never found the words to tell you. I ran away and just recently, I ran into Heero. He?s been helping me. Helping me come back to you with our baby.?
Duo was dumbstruck. ?Ou...our baby? As in yours and?and mine??
Hilde nodded, the words unable to escape through her tears. Duo swept her into his arms and held her and his son there.

Heero smiled and silently backed away. It was time to face Relena. But first, he needed to make a quick stop.

After Heero had left her, Relena had thrown herself into her work. However, even the former queen of the world needed a break every once in a while. She rummaged through her refrigerator in dismay. It was empty except for a case of soda, so she sighed and popped the top of a can of Pepsi. Suddenly, there was a noise at the door. Relena froze, listening for the sound again. The door opened, and a cheerful voice called from the entryway.
?Honey, I?m home. I?ve got bread and milk and that bologna that you like so much. You wouldn?t BELIEVE the checkout lines! That should be your next crusade: shortening checkout lines at the grocery store.?
The young man rounded the corner, bags in hand, and Relena dropped her can of Pepsi in disbelief. There in front of her stood Heero. Her heart stopped for a moment, and then she began to cry. She sank to her knees, sobbing and gasping for air. Heero knelt down beside her and held her, oblivious to the sticky mess he was sitting in.
