AN: Ooo thanks for reviewing. I did notice I had a few mistakes in my last post, but have a bit of pity on me. I no longer have someone to watch out for my posts, so there might be a few mistakes until I get one back. Anyway ... I wanted the prologue to be on the shorter side, and I do know that it was a bit dry. The beginning of this one too is a bit on the dry side, but only because it's kind of setting the story, the ending of this chapter should be a bit more interesting. Okies ... enough of my ramble! ^^

Chapter 1 - It's Him Again ...

It was morning again ... Monday to be precise. The most wonderful day of the week, or so everyone wished anyway. Kaname cursed under her breath. She was going to be late, not something she was used too. It was hard getting back into the swing of things after having so much 'fun'. Lately though, she was trying to keep everything in the same order. Wake up, wait for Sousuke ... so that he didn't' go haywire on her for being by herself, walk to school, get through the school day, then come home and relax.

Unfortunately, her perfect schedule wasn't working out today. Sousuke had mentioned something about another Mithril meeting, so she would have to walk to school on her own today. Nothing she couldn't handle. She rolled her eyes, and finally pulled out her last shoe. She quickly pulled it on and blasted through the door as quickly as possible. She couldn't be late.

Kaname thanked some unknown force that seemed to get her to school five minutes before it started. Kyouko beamed at Kaname, finally catching sight of her. She pulled out a mini camera and snapped a quick photo, grinning brightly. " Your almost late Kaname ... what took you so long?"

Kaname blinked slightly, before huffing gently. " Bad morning ... very bad morning." Kyouko continued to grin and then noticed something was missing. " Where's your 'fan'?" Kaname snorted at her, crossing her arms as they started off towards class. " Mission relays or something of the sort. He's gone all day again." Kyouko blinked and sighed, shrugging her shoulders. " I'd rather be there than here," She blinked and suddenly stopped. "Oh! Remember that guy who was harassing you that one day? I finally got his name. Cade Inder. Supposedly he moved from America." Kaname raised her brow. "Cade? Sounds like a troublemaker to me..." Kyouko just nodded as they took their seats in class.

"Ugh ... lunch..." Kaname flopped down on a chair as quickly as possible, closing her eyes. Kyouko giggled slightly, waving at Shinji, who sat down across from the two girls. "Hey Kaname. There is this guy who's looking for you. He asked for you to meet outside by the practice field." Kaname blinked her eyes open. How odd...

Kaname wasn't sure why, but she really didn't want to go. Yet, somehow she found herself staring at a tall boy. Short, blonde hair slightly spiked up. Deep blue eyes that seemed to pierce straight through her. He had to be an upper-class men. He spotted her, and smirked slightly, giving himself one of those, I'm trouble looks. It was then it dawned on her. It was him ... again! Already, she could feel her blood pressure rising. Her eyes narrowed almost to slits. Doing her best to control her temper, she steamed up to him, pointing directly in his face. "What do you want!?"

He chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest. He was at least seven inches taller than she was, making it a little hard to exactly see him eye to eye. " Your going out with me ... " She froze. Going out with him? She blinked before nearly exploding at him. " I am not! Is this why you wanted me out here!?" Her fingers itched slightly, she really wished she had brought along her fan.

"Your attracted to me. Meet me outside the backdoors to the gym this afternoon ... we'll talk then." His smirk never left his face. He walked past her, smacking her on the ass as he passed. Kaname could only stand there bewildered. He was one of the first guys to not react to her temper. "The nerve of some men huh?" Kaname spun around to find Tessa grinning behind her.

"What are you doing here?" This wasn't a good day at all. Tessa's grin turned into a light smile. "Well, doing Sousuke a favor. Since he can't be here, he asked me to watch over you." Kaname blinked. Yes, the nerve of some men. Tessa must have noticed how ridged Kaname had become. " He worries about you ..." Kaname blinked and tilted her head. "What?" Tessa nodded towards her, looking up at the darken sky ... more rain. Looking back down at Kaname, she spoke a bit more slowly "He worries about you," She cleared her throat. " Anyway, who was that blonde haired baka?"

Kaname huffed and motioned Tessa to come inside with her. "I don't even want to know." Tessa nodded. Kaname stopped and tilted her head slightly. "Tessa ... don't mention this to Sousuke. I guess I am going to have to meet with this 'Cade' just to find out what he wants. Knowing Sousuke, he'll blow a gasket." Tessa nodded lightly as the two headed back into the cafeteria.

"Really ... I don't know what he wants. Remember that you just can't go and shoot random people for things that happen in everyday life!" Sousuke crossed his arms, closing his eyes as he shook his head. " If you want to find out what he wants then go. Maybe you really don't need me after all ... "

More substance and they story is moving along. Good start! It's only the 1st chapter so I wouldnt expect too much character interaction and development, but the story looks promising. I'll look forward to the next chapter.

Great chapter! This fic gets more intriguing every time you post....Who's this Cade guy, and what exactly does he want? I have so many questions that can only be answered by the next chapter, and the preview just left me wanting to read it even more! Hope you update soon!!
