Hey, y'all Californians! ^_^ I need a beach that's close to a city that would be good to have the NA HQ located in. Complete with heavy traffic.

Well, there's Venice Beach in So. California...that's usually filled with tourists and shady vendors...?

And there's also Long Beach, which is a major shipping port...both of these are in Los Angeles county...Northern California is a bit better at keeping their beaches clean and away from freeways. Though there is that one in San Francisco...? On the scenic route?

Setting at the beginning of Chap 2:

Our four heroines are headed for a beach amongst crowded tourists in sunny South California. They're going to have to get to the NA HQ within this chapter in the span of a few minutes, maybe an hour.

No uber crowded beaches up here in NorCal. We're better about that than SoCal.

Yes, I think Long Beach would work. It's funny because several of my floormates are from that area.

Well, as far as I foggily remember, there're fewer tourists in Long Beach...they have a aquarium and things--stuff to get the locals to go with their families, not really a big 'babes in bikinis'/'muscle man' scene. Venice Beach is what you see on TV and in movies, with the palm trees and sand...there's lots of shops along the coast line, etc...

But I really can't remember much, sooo...I dunno.
