amateur_storyteller, I'd have to agree that the stories you recommended are great stories to read if you haven't already read them. Turnabout, Courtship, and Rebound are probably considered "classic" pieces and really set the standard for great writing in the IY ...

And I'm going to throw this out there because it did cross my mind... if you really want a sequel to this then you can use "Virtue's End". This was the situation I had envisioned when it says that Kagome waited for Inu to come to her and he did, only a little too late...
