             Ch.3 A Capture of Heart

 

    "Relena, get down.  Don't make a sound." Heero commanded.  Relena was about to protest, but saw the emotionless perfect soldier fully take over his features and did as she was told.  

    Heero counted about 12 soldiers had them surrounded.  ' I think I can get them.  They've become smart.  No doubt stronger, but I'm not going down without a fight.' Heero thought.  Then the first shot was heard as Heero nearly dodged it getting his gun out.  

    There were more shots, and soon there were 20 counted soldiers, 5 dead.

 

    "AAH!  Let me go!" Relena shouted.

    

    "Put your gun down or your girlfriend's gonna bite the big one." A low dark voice demanded.

 

    "Heero, don't worry about me.  Kill him!  Kill them all!  I know you promised but not all promises are kept!" Relena struggled as she shouted.

 

    "Shut-up you spoiled brat!"  the soldier barked.  He was obviously the commander.  Heero could tell because of the action he made.  Going for Relena.  

 

    By now Heero had successfully killed the remaining 15 soldiers and had turned around to face the commander.  " Put your gun down, or you'll join the rest of your crew."  Heero spoke monotonously.

    

    "If I go, so does she."  He smiled then Heero smelled something foul and his last thought was, "Relena."  He fell to the ground and a soldier hurled Heero over his shoulder.  Obviously Heero had missed a soldier.

 

    "Heero!  Uhhhh..."  Relena's vision blurred then she too passed out.  

 

    "She'll be quieter now.  We must hurry.  This girl has lungs like a new borns."

With that the commander lifted Relena over his shoulder and the rest of the men that were  still alive, left. 

 

~~~~~inside mansion at Noin and Zech's dinner~~~~~ "Shouldn't Heero be done talking to Relena?  It's been two hours." Noin asked worriedly.

 

    "Don't worry, Heero's probably..." Duo was cut off when they all heard gunshots and screams from, presumably Relena.

 

    "If Yuy so much as touches Relena, I'll kill him." Zechs rampaged to the scene.

 

---Outside---  "Zechs!  Stop!  Don't ruin... Oh my god! "  Noin yelled then gasped.  There was a cloth stained a brownish color.

    "Someone must've captured them.  Look!  A trail of blood.  Maybe we can find some answers!" a hopeful Duo exclaimed.  They followed many trails leading them to dead soldiers.  The attackers obviously planned this.  They left faulty trails and Noin, Zechs, Duo, Trowa, and Quatra couldn't find Heero.  And if Heero wasn't found, then Relena wouldn't be found either.  Wufei was with the preventers reporting the matter.  Everyone had been waiting for Heero and Relena to walk in and then announce the news that Relena would supposedly have.  So they were all at the table, and now they were all on the current "crisis" at hand. 

 

~~~~~~Somewhere, and surprisingly near, the Peacecraft Mansion~~~~~~

 

    Relena awoke in a comfortable bed.  She was going to roll out, but stopped as she heard the soft in and out take of breath.  She rubbed her eyes and almost screamed when she saw Heero lying next to her. 

    Her rustling around obviously woke Heero, because when he saw Relena sorta leaning over him to get up, he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her down.  (not on-top of him ^_^ They were captured remember? *_~)

   

    "Heero?" Relena started only to be quieted by Heero.

   

    "Let me make sure it is safe.  To talk or walk around I mean." He said with no emotion at all. 

 

    Ignoring Heero's demand Relena started, "Ugh!  Why did this happen?  How did this happen for that matter?  I mean..." She was cut off though.  Heero cut in yet again. 

    "Relena, It's my fault for not protecting you.  I have failed my mission and..."

 

    "Heero, you know that's not true.  It's my fault for letting them get this far.  Or even organizing for that matter.  I'm bad at my job, I'm horrible with my life.  I should just resign from it all!"  Relena exclaimed exasperatedly.  She was going to continue when Heero spoke up.  He looked thoughtful for a moment.

 

    Deciding it was safe to talk, Heero started his first real, and probably long conversation. 

    "Relena, there's something I've been meaning to tell you." 

 

A.N.:: AAAHH!!  What's he goona say!!??  The suspence is killing me!  Ok, next chapter should be out relatively quick.  I have already done it, sorta, but like I said, I re-did a whole chapter and the remains go into the next chapter, so hang tight!  C-ya and thanxz for reading!  I want all comments please!!!  Also, I know this chapter is short!  I am soooo sorry!  I have the horrible disease writer's block!  Sorry!  I will try my hardest to do the next chapter faster than I say!  ~L.A.~
