Disclaimers: I
do not own GundamW or any of the pilots. Some of the characters are mine. I
know that in EW they say that the gundams are destroyed (sorry, for those of u
who haven’t seen it), but in this fic the gundams will still be existent.
Underlined things are my thoughts, which I throw in here occasionally to clear
up any confusion)
oh, and I'll Be Here chapter 2 will be out soon... it was on my mom's computer
which is across the house in her room, so I have got to copy it and send it
here to mine.... It'll be out soon, I promise.
Nightmares and Daydreams
The cold, dark room that the boy sat in seemed to be suffocating him. He sat in
a chair with his hands tied behind his back and dried blood stained his face,
neck, and where it had drained down his arm. He had not moved from the room or
from the chair for 2 days. No one had come in to feed him or give him something
to drink.
"Even this is better then the pain," he thought. His brown hair was
disheveled and falling in his eyes and his nose had itched for the past couple
of hours, but still he sat there not moving. That was what the doctor had told
him to do.
Heero Yuy sat in the darkness waiting for the doctor to return, for the pain,
and for something to drink. He didn’t have to wait long.
He saw the horrible claw before he saw anything else. It flashed in front of
his face almost making him shudder, but the doctor was beginning to train him
well and he didn’t even cringe.
"How are you, Heero?"
"Fine," he said calmly trying to hide the true pain he was in.
"Oh really? Well, then I think we need to add a little more to that scar
collection you seem to be gathering. What do you think of that?"
"I.. I.... uhhh...."
"Do not ever stutter! Never show that you are not sure of what you are
doing!"
"I.. I’m sorry."
Dr. J ripped the ropes that were binding Heero and pulled him from the chair
with his claw. Heero stumbled and Dr. J squeezed the claw tighter about his
left arm. He dragged Heero down the hall to another room. He threw him up onto
a table (like the ones in doctor’s offices except without the blue cushiony
stuff). Dr. J pulled the chains that would bind Heero down over Heero’s chest,
knees, ankles, arms, and neck, so that the 9-year-old boy could not move at
all. Dr. J pulled a knife from the table beside him and put it close to Heero’s
arm. Then Heero felt the knife enter his arm and slice it up and down.
"Aghh!!!" Heero cried out. The doctor hit him across the face with
his claw.
"You do not show emotion! Say it!"
"I....I..."
Dr. J grabbed Heero by the head with each of the fingers (are there fingers on
his claw?) on Heero’s temples and started to squeeze.
"Say it, boy! You do not show emotion! You must be the Perfect
Soldier!"
"I do not show emotion. I am the Perfect Soldier."
"That’s not good enough. I’ll make this a little worse." He pulled
the walkie-talkie from his lab pocket. "Lara, can you come in here for a
moment?"
Heero sat up in bed with sweat beads flowing down his forehead. He looked at
his beautiful wife, Relena who was still sleeping peacefully beside him. He
smiled as he looked at her.
"Oh, my love." He leaned over and kissed her forehead.
She smiled in her sleep and turned over onto her side. Heero lay back down, but
his dreams were still haunting him, and he lie awake until dawn when he got up
and prepared for another day.
Relena woke up at 6:30 and noticed the bags under Heero’s eyes.
"Heero? What’s wrong, hun?"
"Nothing’s wrong. I just didn’t sleep well last night. Lots of work
worries. That new terrorist group is starting to worry me. I know that all
they’ve done is set a few fires here and there, but small fires will eventually
lead to big fires, so we need to figure out what’s going on."
"Oh, Heero. Don’t worry so much."
"I worry about you and the twins. Ryushi and Kanu are only two now. I
don’t know what I’d do if something happened to any of you."
"Heero, you know that everything will turn out all right. I can take care
of myself and the twins. This huge mansion here has a lot of security and one
of the gundam pilots is usually always here. If they aren’t, Hilde will be
here. I am never alone. None of us girls are."
"Boy, that makes you sound like you actually need the protection, but I
know you don’t. I just don’t want anything to happen to you. Well, tell Ryushi
and Kanu good-bye for me. I’ll be home around dinner."
He leaned in and kissed her good-bye. He turned to walk away but kissed her
again feeling her mouth with his tongue. He could never seem to stop kissing
her.
"Good-bye, Relena."
She smiled. "Good-bye."
He pulled up to the Preventers office where he worked. He walked up to his
office ignoring Duo’s shouts from the office next door. Duo was at it again. He
was always trying to get on Heero’s nerves and he succeeded a lot of the time,
but Heero never let him know it.
The 20-year-old man sat and stared at a blank computer screen for 15 minutes
before realizing that he had work to do, but as soon as he turned on the
computer, a face appeared that had been haunting his dreams and nightmares for
the past 15 years.
"Hello, Heero."
"What do you want?" Heero said stoically.
"Oh, I was just checking up on my Not-So-Perfect-Soldier. You have really
disappointed me, Heero. I think I should make you pay for it."
"Shut the f*** up!" Heero shouted.
"I’ll be going now. I’ll see you later, Heero."
Dr. J’s face disappeared from the screen. "D*mn it!"
Duo walked into the room. "Heero, man, what’s wrong?"
"Nothing, Duo."
"Oh, yes there is. You don’t just shout because of nothing. What’s wrong?
What happened?"
"Dr. J is back."
"What?!" Duo was taken aback. No one had seen or heard from Dr. J
since Mariemaia disappeared.
"You heard me! Dr. J is back. Now, go away and keep your big mouth shut.
No one else is to know about this. I don’t want to worry the others."
"Okay, man. My lips are sealed."
Duo turned and walked from the room. He knew that Dr. J had done some seriously
horrible things to Heero to make him "perfect", but Duo had never
seen Heero truly upset by anything.
Heero sat back down and his mind wandered.
I hope to get the next part out soon.... sorry this was so short!
