Anyway, here's the epilogue.

@>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~

It had been three days.

Three days without sleep, three days without food.

Three days without him.

Every night she would toss and turn, his face would appear in her dreams and haunt her. The stupid nightmares would mock her, telling her that he would never come back. That if he did, he would never love her. She always woke her in a sweat, trembling and breathing hard.

And that if why she chose not to sleep anymore, it would be a lot easier.

Every night when the entire mansion was asleep, she would stand in her balcony and let her mind wander off to him.

Let it ask the question if he'll ever come back.

Her thoughts were so focused on him; she didn't even remember that tomorrow is her birthday.

If it hadn't been for Ms. Noin, it would have slipped to the back of her mind, she would have been eighteen without knowing it.

Milliardo was giving her a party, as usual. Another boring ball where the entire male population would ask her to dance. At least all the pilots (expect Heero) and their girlfriends would be there.

And she wondered, did Heero know that tomorrow was her birthday? Would he be back in time?

Probably not, this was probably another suicide mission. Maybe he won't be so lucky this time.

She would cry, cry for him. Shed the tears he would never let out.

Another sleepless night passed by, her eyes desperately wanted to close, but she would not let them. What if Heero came back in the night? She didn't want to miss him.

She would not sleep.

She would just stand on this balcony and let her mind wander, like the past three days.

Are you thinking about me Heero? Do you miss me?

@>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~

"Ms. Peaceraft, would you like to dance?" asked a man to Relena.

She hated denying requests. She just did not like the look when she said no, like their world just came to an end. So she said "yes."

She didn't even know who this person was, but she got a good look at him when she stood up.

It was Jordan.

He looked like before, same blond hair a blue eyes.

She breathed a sign of relief that this was not some rich guy who wants to dance with her just to say he danced with Relena Peacecract.

This was a friend, well, kind of.

He did help her escape from Marshall.

"Hello Jordan. How have you been?" she asked, her voice shaking a little.

They stood up and danced to the music, jealous boys watched.

She was scared he would be upset at her for killing Marshall. Even thought she didn't do it, she was still scared. After all, she did say Marshall wouldn't get hurt.

She still felt so guilty after that.

"I have been good Relena."

"Good. Um… Jordan? I just wanted to say I'm… sorry for what happened to your Grandpa."

Silence.

She feared this would happen. Why chouldn't she keep her bug mouth shut? Now she reminded him again.

Even though the silence lasted for only a few seconds, Relena found herself sweating.

"To tell you the truth, I'm almost glad that he's gone. It's better for humanity for him to be gone."

At these words, Relena was very glad. She wanted another friend, not an enemy.

"I'm so glad."

They continued to dance to the four-minute kind of slow, kind of fast song.

And by the time the dance was over, Relena had learned that he now lived on L2. He works for a computer programming company. He had said that he was really happy now, happier than the times with Marshall.

The dance ended sooner then expected. Jordan left; he had to go back home. A couple hours would be needed for the plane to fly back to L2. After all, he still had a full day's job tomorrow.

They said they're goodbyes and hugged. Relena went to the refreshment table to get a drink, on the way denying another request.

She was waiting for Heero to come. Somewhere in her heart just knew that he wouldn't show up. That she probably dreamed about the kiss.

But still she waited, for him to come back to her. That would be the best Birthday present.

She stopped everyone (Duo, Hilde, Wufei, Trowa, Sally, etc.) at the refreshment table, everyone but Heero.

She quickly stepped in and joined the gossip.

@>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~

"Come on you baka, go talk to her," said Duo to Heero.

In was in the shadows, as usual. And as usual, he refused to step out.

Having said he had to go the bathroom, Duo got a few minutes to talk with his best friends.

"…" came from Heero.

"Look at her, all the men that's asking her to dance. And tell me Mr. Perfect, why does she deny them? She's waiting for you. Go to her!"

"…"

"Well, you're going to lose your chance. She danced with Jordan earlier. It seems to me they were really happy. Looks like you have competition."

"Shut up Duo."

"What? To chicken?"

"…"

"Come on Heero, she's not going to be available for long. Look at all these men who have their eyes on her! If I didn't have Hilde, I would want her too! No wait, I take that back! But she only likes you! I don't know why, but she does. And this is her birthday!"

"…"

Duo couldn't believe his best friend's attitude. The girl is there standing, waiting for him. And here he is, hiding in the shadows, refusing to come out.

Duo went away, mumbling something that sounded very familiar to "Stupid Baka."

The disappeared in the crowed of people, no doubt looking for Hilde.

And he watched, he watched her deny another requests, then another.

He watched her put up her forced "fake" smile. She was clearly not enjoying this.

And still he hid; an hour or two must have past since he got here.

After a while, he noticed her stepping out the back door. She seemed like she was trying to hide, to get away from all these people.

He knew that the backyard was a huge garden. And it could be scary, this time from night.

Why she wanted out so bad, he knew. She was trapped as something she didn't want. She wanted out so badly, it wasn't funny.

He followed her.

Out the backdoors and into the cool night.

Relena stepped out into the garden, eager to get away from all those rich idiots.

It was cold out here. She shivered and whished she hadn't wore this no-sleeve silver dress.

Milliardo insisted on her wearing this dress. He said it made her look like an Angel. She says it makes her look like an idiot.

He even brought her wings and the gold ring to look like an Angle. The world might just come to an end before she wears them.

But she had to admit, the dress did look lovely. It was completely silver. Laces and ribbons covered it. Maybe it was her dress that attracted so many guys today.

Brr…

It's pretty cold outside.

And yet she didn't go back inside.

The moon was nice and high, giving her light to see. She would rather be out here in the cold and admiring her new red roses then inside with all of… all of them.

A large white rose caught her eye. The was unusual. All her roses were red, not white.

Nevertheless, it looked lovely.

@>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~

Heero watched her though the bushes he hid in.

She was beautiful.

Only Angels looked like that. And she was one.

He stood there, admiring her beauty. How he wanted to kiss her again. Whenever he licked his lips, he could still taste them.

He could see her shiver, she was obviously cold.

But she made no move to go back inside, she hardly noticed at all.

Honestly, she's got to pay more attention to her body. She's going to work herself to death.

Something bizarre caught her eye, it caught his too. It was a white rose, the only one in a pile of red ones.

She bent down to pick it, never noticing the thorns that's on it.

She's going to cut herself.

@>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~ @>~~

Relena had her eye on the beautiful white rose. She was stupid enough not to notice the thorns.

"Don't. You'll cut yourself."

The voice made her jump. She was totally unaware that someone was in the bushes.

The voice had come to her, the voice of Heero Yuy.

"Heero…"

He stepped out off those thick bushes that hid his beauty. p>He was wearing that absurd green top again. It'll be a miracle if he wasn't. But he had changed the spandex to a pair of light blue jeans.

It's eyes and face was intense as always.

His stare held her's.

Walking up to her, he took her hand. The rose completely forgotten now.

"You came back to me."

"Did you think I would leave you?"

Relena gave no answer. He needed to answer. The look in her eyes was enough. It was longing… and love.

They're noses were an inch apart.

Relena stared into those beautiful Prussian blue eyes. He stared into her light blue one's full of innocence.

They fell into a deep and passionate kiss.

"Will you stay with me Heero?"

"Forever and ever."

THE END! (for now)

The End! Finally!

I have a few things to say: THANK YOU EVERYBODY WHO MAILED AND REVIEWED! You are so kind!

I have an idea about a new fic (GW). Here's the basic summary:

All of a sudden Heero and Relena are snapped into the future where they find a new deadly threat that's taking over Earth and the colonies. They're almost taken over the world expect for a group called Freedom Fighters that fight them. They meet up with a beautiful and deadly girl who threatens to kill them. What's even weirder is that she was Heero's eyes and Relena's looks. Who is she?

Introducing a new character: Kendra Marie Yuy! Yes Yuy! Nope, I'm not telling you who she really is.

What do you think of the idea?

As always, review and email me!
