Chapter 3: A Love Found

Two Weeks Later . . .

Hilde was sweeping the floor with her head lowered when the door burst opened. Heero glanced up and noticed it was Duo. "Hey Heero man, what's up?" he asked

"You", said Heero sharply. "Leave us". Duo glanced behind him examining the slave girl as she walked out.

"I don't know how you it do, but you sure know how to pick beautiful slaves".

"I didn't pick them, my sister did".

"Yeah, whatever".

"Is there some reason why you're here and not training the men?"

"Well, I got real tired so I decided to come here and talk for a while", said Duo.

After a few moments Laura entered the room and decided to join in on the conversation. Heero listened to his sister talk for a while then his mind wandered to Relena. "Heero? Heero are you listening to me?" Heero turn to glance Laura. "Are you paying any attention? You're not are you? What are you thinking about brother?" "Nothing", he said as Relena walked in. Heero allowed his eyes to roam on her for a second. She was setting the table up for dinner. "Ah, I see. You don't have a thing on your mind do you?" Laura laughed. Heero glared at her.

Then Alexander walked in and noticed that the beautiful slave named Relena was there setting up the table. Alexander circled around her silently, looking at her up and down. He smirked when he saw that her face was bowed. Heero noticed this and told her" You may leave", Relena turned and left.

After half and hour Relena, Hilde, Dorothy, Cathrine, and Sally walked in again carrying a plate of food followed by the other slaves. They started placing food on the table, then they walked out to get some more.

"Why do you keep the slave girls when you obviously have no interest in them?" asked Alexander.

"That doesn't mean he doesn't like watching them", laughed Duo. Heero ignored him and ordered a guard to send in some girls to entertain them so they wouldn't annoy him while he ate. (of course it was no other than Relena, Hilde, etc.) After a while he saw Alexander out of the corner of his eyes flickering in enjoyment.

Heero looked up and nearly feel off his chair, he was in complete shock. One of the dancers was Relena, she was dancing and doing it quite well. He smirked and leaned back to relax, watching her intently.

The next day Relena and the other slave girls were busy with their duties. Heero, Duo, Quarte, Trowa, and Wuefi were out training the army. When they were done they all came in to eat dinner. However, Heero was too tired and ordered his meal sent to his room. Relena entered his room and placed his meal on the table. He stared at her for a moment then dismissed her.

Relena walked into her slave quarters where her 4 friends were already sleeping. She climbed onto bed, layed on her back and thought about things. She thought about her past life. "Goodnight Father, Mother, Brother, and Grandmother", she said and then turned off the lamp and went to sleep.

The next day Laura was feeling sick so she stayed in her bedroom all day. For some reason she thought about the slave girl her brother was interested in. She knew Relena looked like someone, but who? After 5 hours she realized that Relena looked awful alike to the queen of Colony L5 that died 20 years ago, Emma Peacecraft, her death was heard everywhere. *But why does she look like her* thought Laura. After hours of thinking again Laura finally figured out who Relena really was.

Night came quickly, Heero had sparred with Wuefi all day and had gotten a bruise on his back, and ordered that someone come in and take care of it. He wasn't surprise that it took 10 to 15 minutes for someone to come, after all everyone was asleep by now. The door opened and a guard sent in Relena which pleased him and motioned her to come in.

"Is there anything I can do for you my lord?" she asked.

"Get the first - aid medic kit and take care of the bruise on my back", he said coldly. She did so and remained silent the whole time, after she was finished he rolled over and looked at her. The before she could get off the bed his arm snaked out, grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him, she gasped but didn't resist as she was pulled. Heero kissed her slowly the Relena felt his arms around her waist. He drew back and chuckled then drew her forward again for another kiss. The time they stayed that way for a while until the door burst opened. Laura walked in, Relena quickly drew back and Heero looked up startled. Relena stood up with her head bowed and Heero waved her off. Laura watched her leave and grinned at her brother,

"Well, well little brother it looks like you're taking after Alexander in that kind of enjoyment", she said. Heero just gave her a death glare.

"Oh by the way I heard that you and Wuefi had sparred, so I came in to see that you two were stable. But by the looks of it, it seems you are doing quite well", Laura laughed and left the room.

She was walking down the hall and saw Relena. She motioned for her to come stand by her. Relena did so, but slightly startled at the command. Laura looked at her and whispered to her ear "Becareful that no one finds out who you really are, the daughter of the Peacecraft family". Relena looked up and nodded slightly and went to her bedroom.

When Relena returned to her bedroom she wondered how Laura knew who she was. It didn't matter, all that mattered was that she could trust her with her secret. She then went to sleep with the sweet memory of when her and Heero had kissed. Meanwhile Laura returned to her bedchambers and just laughed and laughed. Heero was going to enter to check on how she was feeling when something he heard stopped him.

"I can't believe my own brother, the General of the King's army, falling in love with Relena, the daughter of the Peacecraft family, it's just way too funny", laughed Laura. Heero couldn't believe what she just said. "Relena the daughter of the Peacecraft family? How?" Heero said to himself as he walked back to his bedroom.

The next night Heero called for Relena to be sent up to his bedroom. A few moments later Relena entered with her head bowed.

"Yes, Lord Heero, what is it that you wish?" asked Relena.

"I want to know about your people?" replied Heero. Relena shot her head up and thought * My people? He knows who I am? Impossible, he must mean about the slaves?*

"Well, us slave girls are -

"No, no, no, not about them. I mean about your family, The Peacecrafts". All of a sudden Relena found it hard to breathe.

" I, I don't know what you're talking about". "You know very well what I'm talking about". Relena couldn't lie anymore, she had to confess.

"Yes, it is true my name is Relena Peacecraft and the daughter of Emma and Christopher Peacecraft". Heero stared at her.

"I knew that was something mysterious about you." "What will you do with me now, Heero?"

As if responding to the question he reached out and pulled her to him. They were in each others arms in a heartbeat. Then they kissed with a passionate flame that lasted thoughout the night and that would last until the day they were both dead.
