Falling Apart: Chapter Six
"Kei! I want you to meet Hilde," Relena chided looking like a child who found her favorite doll.
"It’s a pleasure to meet you," Kei greeted grinning. His silver hair sparkled with his twinkling sapphire eyes. Hilde nodded dumbly, he was so handsome. He got right along joking with Duo. Hilde swore that guy could be a better soul mate for Duo than her, luckily they’re both not attracted to each other.
"Hmm…Kei always makes me laugh, I wonder if he’s the one," Relena declared looking at the ceiling of her bedroom.
"Maybe, maybe not, but I’ll go with the maybe," Hilde chirped. Maybe he is the one after all, Heero never made her laugh. He always did the opposite, too bad. I hope Relena is truly happy with Kei.
"Hey! Relena where did you meet that hunk?" Hilde exclaimed in the bedroom looking curiously at Relena.
"At the central park near the beach. Actually he met me," Relena giggled dropping onto the bed. Hilde cocked an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" Hilde questioned.
"Oh nothing, it’s just something that I’m suppose to keep a secret no matter what," Relena cooed smiling.
"Relena, come on you can tell me," Hilde whimpered begging Relena.
"Nope. I promised, besides if this is a sleep over why aren’t we sleeping?" Relena interrupted turning off the lights. Hilde sighed.
"You’re going to tell me someday Relena and I’ll make sure it’ll be soon," Hilde vowed. Outside on the balcony Heero heard everything.
"Kei, you better be what she says you are," he advised to no one in particular looking at the night sky.

"Relena," Kei began looking at her seriously.
"Yes? What’s wrong?" Relena asked.
"I just," Kei paused, "I just want you to be happy."
"I am happy, with you," Relena answered bluntly.
"Heero Yuy you say…he was my enemy and rival once," Kei announced sounding sad.
*******flashback (11 years ago when they were 6-7 years old)*******
"Kei your stupid," Heero yelled.
"No I’m not! And don’t pick on Relena. She’s muy fwen," Kei stated hugging Relena protectively.
"She’s stupid too. Since you’re fwens then you can fall in the mud together," Heero laughed pushing a small Kei and Relena into a puddle of mud. Relena starts to cry as Heero snickers and leaves.
"It’s okay Relena, I’ll be there always," Kei comforted.
*******flash*******
"That’s how it all began for us. I was always your friend and then we just became closer. Heero got jealous I guess and wanted you, but you didn’t want to go with him," Kei described. Relena leaned a little closer to Kei listening the sound of his heart.
"So your afraid he might do something bad right?" Relena added, somehow her heart felt a little empty. Relena soon fell asleep on Kei’s lap. He carried her all the way back home and back into Noin’s and Milliardo’s care. Unlike Heero Zechs like Kei and thought that he was better suited for Relena than Heero could ever be.

"Kei honey, is the plan of yours working?" a woman with maroon hair asked politely.
"Of course, everything’s falling into place," he affirmed kissing her passionately.
