Heero stood in the rain as it poured down from the heavens flooding the streets and roads. It was his kind of day, where it just rained. Thunder crackled, he remembered a day just like today.

*******flashback******

"Heero! Wait up!" Relena hollered running down the sidewalk and splashing into the puddles. She was holding a pink umbrella and wore a cute pink raincoat to match with her umbrella. Heero waited soaking in all the rain, but the rain stopped falling on him when she covered him with her umbrella. Relena giggled at Heero, because she kept on poking his head with the umbrella.

"Sorry, Heero! I’m too short," she cried stopping as Heero sighed and took the umbrella from her grasp and held it above them. Relena smiled and hooked her arm with Heero’s as they walked to school together.

*******flash******

"Relena," Heero whispered watching all the people passing through the park without a second glance. His hair was still ruffled even though it was wet. Couples walked together hand in hand smiling at each other. Heero envied them.

"May I sit with you?" a voice asked, Heero’s head jerked up. It was Relena smiling at him again. He started to drown in those blue eyes all over again. He nodded looking away quickly blushing.

"Um…thank you for staying with me at the hospital that night," Relena spoke looking at the scenery. She knew all along, who would’ve guessed. Heero simply grunted but continued the silence. Relena shuffled her feet looking at the ground not knowing what to say. Hilde told her to stay away from him until she explained everything. She just couldn’t resist.

"Stay away from me if you want to live a happy life," Heero replied icily walking away. Tears sprang up in Relena’s eyes, why did he have to be so mean? She watched him as he walked away from her in the rain.

"Heero," Relena mumbled as if she had said it before, familiar.

"I see you’ve met Heero Yuy," a man said from behind. He smiled at her and sat down.

"I’m Kei, I was your former boyfriend. We were suppose to be engage," Kei brought forth shocking the wits out of Relena.

"What are you talking about?" Relena retorted looking suspiciously at him.

"No really, I’m not lying. Nobody knew that we had a relationship together, except for Heero. He found out and got jealous. He’s so ashamed of it that he doesn’t want to tell you," Kei explained looking innocently and calm.

"How do I know your telling the truth anyway?" Relena argued sticking her finger at him. He shrugged.

"Maybe because I know everything about you. Or perhaps I was the one who sent you that brown bear," Kei mentioned grinning impishly.

"How do you know? I didn’t tell anyone not even Hilde," Relena stuttered backing away from him. He had a hurt face and looked away.

"Look I’m sorry for bring up the past, but I just wanted to start over you know. I got the point that you have amnesia and stuff, but I still want to be your friend at least," Kei expressed. Relena felt guilt maybe she should give him a chance after all what could happen?
